BEEF STEW | |
2 1/2 lb. stew beef 3 tbsp. flour 2 tsp. salt and pepper 3 tbsp. cooking oil 2 c. apple cider 1/4 c. water 2 tbsp. vinegar 4 carrots, cut 3 potatoes, chunked 1 apple, chopped Brown floured beef in cooking oil. Add cider, water and vinegar. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cook 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until meat is done. Add vegetables last 30 minutes. I put in Dutch oven, cover top with canned biscuits and cook by directions on biscuits. |
