CHICKEN D'ELEGANT | |
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen broccoli spears 2 c. cooked and diced chicken 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup 1 c. mayonnaise 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1 tbsp. butter, melted 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated Cook broccoli according to directions. Arrange broccoli in buttered 11 1/2 x 7 inch baking dish. Place cooked chicken on top of broccoli. Combine soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice and oregano. Blend thoroughly and spread over chicken. Mix bread crumbs, butter and cheese. Sprinkle over casserole right before baking. Bake 35 to 50 minutes, uncovered at 350 degrees. |
