GRANDMA'S BEEF SOUP | |
1 c. white beans, soaked overnight 2 onions 2-3 lb. beef shank bones & meat 1/2 cabbage, shredded 2 qt. water 1 c. barley Salt & pepper to taste 1 lb. carrots, shredded Simmer everything except barley 2-3 hours. Add barley and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 1 hour. Makes 6 servings. |
