APPLE STRUDEL 
2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. Crisco butter flavored shortening
6 tbsp. cold water

Mix flour and salt; cut into shortening until well mixed. Add water, a little at a time, until it forms a ball. Divide into two parts. Roll out one onto a floured board to fit a 13 x 9-inch pan.

FILLING:

Granny Smith apples (enough to fill a 13 x 9-inch pan)
About 1 to 1 1/2 c. sugar (I mix some brown sugar with the white)
Cinnamon (to taste)
About 3 to 4 tbsp. flour
1 can evaporated milk

Mix sugar, cinnamon and flour together. Pour over sliced apples and stir until coated. Put filling over pie dough in 13 x 9-inch pan. Pour milk over entire mixture. Cover with remaining pie dough. Pierce crust with fork; sprinkle sugar over top of crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
