STRAWBERRY PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. water
4 c. fresh or frozen strawberries or raspberries
2 c. pink lemonade
2 c. raspberry-cranberry juice drink

In a small saucepan combine sugar and water. Cook over medium heat until boiling. Boil gently 10 minutes. Cool. In blender or processor put berries and blend until smooth. Strain to remove seeds. Stir together cooled sugar, syrup, berries and lemonade and cranberry drink. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Freeze until firm. Break frozen mixture into chunks, turn into large mixer bowl and beat until smooth. Return to pan and refreeze until firm or freeze in ice cream freeze. Makes 8 to 10 cups.
