FUDGE CAKE 
2 c. Wondra flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. water
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda

Bring to boil the butter, water, cocoa, and Crisco. Pour this over the Wondra flour and sugar mixture. Then add the eggs, vanilla, buttermilk, and soda. Blend well. Bake in an 11 x 16 inch cookie sheet with sides, well greased, for about 20 minutes at 350 to 400 degrees. Make icing while cake bakes.

ICING:

3 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk
1 box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts (opt.)

Bring to a boil the cocoa, butter, and milk; boil a short while. Then add the confectioners' sugar, vanilla, and nuts. Ice while the cake is hot.
