MOM'S BUTTER PECAN ICE CREAM 
1/4 c. sugar
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
2 (12 oz.) cans evaporated milk
1 jar caramel ice cream topping
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans, lightly toasted
Optional: 1 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring

Mix ingredients all together except pecans and pour into a gallon size ice cream freezer. Finish filling freezer to line with homogenized milk. Freeze a little while, then add pecans to mixture and finish freezing.

For pineapple ice cream: Omit caramel topping, pecans and maple flavoring. Instead, use 1 jar of pineapple ice cream topping and 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons pineapple flavoring.
