RAISINS CRUMB PIE 
1 lb. seedless raisins stewed with
1 c. sugar
Just enough water to cook

Mix 1/2 cup butter and lard with 2 cups flour and 1 1/2 cups sugar into crumbs. Take out 1 cup and reserve for topping. Add 2 eggs, 3 teaspoons baking powder and 1 cup sweet milk to the remaining flour mixture. Line pans with crust. Spread raisins over the bottom. Pour batter over this and put crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Makes 3 pies.
