CHOP SUEY | |
1 lb. cut-up pork 1 lb. cut-up beef 1 med. onion, cut up 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 lg. can (28 oz.) LaChoy chop suey vegetables 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts (optional) 2 tbsp. molasses 2 tbsp. brown sugar Brown meat with onion (secret is browning real well). Add soy sauce and cook until brown and tender. Add some water if you wish. Add vegetables and chestnuts and molasses and brown sugar. Let simmer. Serve with rice and chow mein noodles and rolls. Very good! |
