ZITI CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ziti 1 (1 lb.) container Ricotta cheese 1/4 lb. mozzarella cheese, grated 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1 egg 3/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 6 c. sauce (meat sauce, if desired) Cook ziti and drain well, following label directions. While noodles are cooking, make a filling. Combine Ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, eggs, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Layer ziti, filling and sauce in a 13"x9"x2" baking dish, starting and ending with meat sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until bubbly hot. (I also use rigatoni for a change.) Serve with salad and garlic bread. |
