GERMAN POTATO SALAD - II 
1 qt. diced boiled potatoes, sliced thin
1/4 lb. bacon
1 med. sized onion, minced finely
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water

Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender; drain. Cut in thin slices. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, sugar, flour and mustard. Cut bacon, fry until crisp. Add onion and cook. Add water, vinegar, and potato mixture. Heat thoroughly. If mixture is too dry, add a little water.
