APRICOT SALAD II 
1 can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped walnuts
8 oz. cream cheese
1 pkg. Dream Whip
1 (6 oz.) pkg. apricot jello

Drain pineapple. Add the 1/2 cup of sugar. Combine 2 cups boiling water to jello. Add only 1 cup cold water. After jello has cooled and is at the soft stage, add pineapple, celery and nuts.

Whip the Dream Whip according to the directions on the package. Whip the cream cheese real good with electric mixer. Fold a little cream cheese at a time into the Dream Whip. Then fold into the jello mixture. Chill several hours before serving.
