BARBECUE RIBS | |
3 to 4 lb. spareribs Salt and pepper 1 onion 1 (16 oz.) bottle of smokey barbecue sauce (or 2 c. homemade sauce) Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper. Place ribs in boiler pan under broiler for 30 minutes to brown and remove excess fat. Slice ribs into serving pieces and put in crock pot. Add onion and pour in barbecue sauce. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. (High 3 to 4 hours) For 4 1/2 quart model ingredients may be increased by half. |
