CHOCOLATE ICEBOX CAKE 
2 bars German sweet chocolate
1 1/2 tbsp. powdered sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 bar angel food cake

Combine chocolate and water and melt. Remove from heat and add sugar. Beat well. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Fold in whipped cream. Break cake into two parts. Break into small pieces one of these halves and put into cake pan. Cover with half of the chocolate mixture. Repeat with rest of cake and chocolate mixture. Garnish with nuts and cherries (optional).
