SAVORY POT ROAST | |
4 lb. beef round or chuck pot roast 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 pkg. Campbell's dry onion soup mix 6 potatoes, quartered 6 carrots, cut in 2 inch pieces In skillet, in 2 tablespoons hot oil, brown roast Mix soup, onion soup mix, and water together. Place roast in baking pan and pour soup mixture over roast. Bake in 350 degree oven for 2 1/2 hours (covered). Turn roast occasionally. Add vegetables and re-cover. Bake an additional 40 minutes or until roast and vegetables are fork-tender. |
