GLORIFIED POTATOES | |
1 large pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 stick butter 1 pt. sour cream 1 lb. cheese Special K cereal or other crumbs (for topping) Grate cheese and mix with potatoes (thawed or frozen). Heat butter, soup and sour cream until bubbly and mix with potatoes and cheese. Place in large casserole dish. Add enough milk to cover 3/4 to 1 cup. Dot rest of butter on top. Top with Special K cereal or crumbs (corn flake, bread, etc.) If potatoes are thawed thoroughly, bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. If frozen, bake 1 1/2 hours or until bubbly. |
