CAULIFLOWER MEDLEY | |
1/3 c. butter 1 sm. head cauliflower, broken in flowerets (about 5 c.) 1/2 c. chopped onion (1 med.) 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dried basil leaves 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 c. carrot slices 1 c. diagonally sliced celery (2 stalks) Melt butter in large skillet; add cauliflower, onion, salt, basil, garlic powder, and pepper. Cover; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 8-10 minutes. Add carrots and celery; continue cooking, uncovered, 6-8 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Serve immediately. Yield: 6 servings. |
