BRAISED SWISS STEAK 
2 lbs. round steak, cut 1 inch thick
2 tbsp. dry bread crumbs
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. butter
1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
2 med. onions, sliced
1/4 c. chopped celery
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Combine bread crumbs, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle steak with half of crumb mixture; pound into steak. Repeat on other side. Cut steak in 6 portions. Melt butter in large Dutch oven. Add steak; brown on both sides over medium heat. Add tomatoes, onion, celery, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce; bring to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 2 hours or until meat is tender.
