ICE CREAM SANDWICHES | |
Pound cake Ice cream Ice cream topping Whip cream or Cool Whip Toast 2 medium slices of pound cake. Place same size slice of ice cream between slices. Top with chocolate, caramel or butterscotch sauce or any other prepared ice cream topping or fresh or canned fruit, making sure not to use too much fruit juice. Top with whip cream or Cool Whip. Garnish with finely chopped nuts. Slice pound cake to fit into toaster well and toast as desired. Place a generous amount of fruit on top and serve with whip cream or Cool Whip drizzled with small amount of fruit juice. Note: This is a quick and easy way to use leftover pound cake. If it is too fresh it may break when removing from toaster. |
