QUICK ALMOND RICE | |
1 tbsp. butter 1 c. long grain rice 1/4 c. slivered almonds 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix (4 oz. serving size) In pot melt butter, add rice and almonds. Cook and stir over medium heat. Heat 5 minutes or until light brown. Add 2 cups of water and soup mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Let stand covered for 10 minutes. Serves 6. |
