HERBED ONION SAUTE 
2 tbsp. butter
3 med. onions, thinly sliced and separated into rings
1/8 tsp. marjoram, crushed
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Melt butter in large skillet; add onion. Cover and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until onion is golden and very tender, about 20 minutes. Stir in marjoram, salt, and pepper. Serve warm as meat accompaniment. Serves 4 to 6.
