PASTINI AND EGG 
1/2 c. pastina, stars-egg flakes acini di pepe etc.
1 pat of butter
1 sprig parsley
Salt and pepper
1 egg

Fill saucepan with 1 quart water. Put in butter, parsley, salt and pepper to taste. When water comes to a boil, add 1/2 cup of pastina. Cook until pastina is soft. Add raw scrambled egg and cook until done.

Grandma Acqualina Rittendale gave us this when we did not feel up to par.
