SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, gradually add sugar, beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add flour, which has been sifted with the soda, alternating with the sour cream, start and end with dry ingredients. Add vanilla, pour into tube pan that has been well greased and floured. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
