DANISH CREAM WAFERS | |
WAFERS: 1 c. butter 1/3 c. whipping cream 2 c. flour FILLING: 1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Food coloring Mix butter, cream, and flour. Chill covered for several hours. Roll dough 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 1 1/2 inch circles. Transfer rounds onto wax paper with granulated sugar. Coat both sides with sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Prick holes in them with fork. Bake at 375 degrees for 7 minutes. Put cookies together in pairs with creamy filling. |
