SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE | |
2 tbsp. olive oil 1 lb. Italian sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces 1 onion, chopped 1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced 1/4 lb. tomatoes, peeled Salt & pepper 3/4 lb. cooked spaghetti 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced 3 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese Brown the sausage in the oil over a medium heat for about ten minutes. Add onion, mushrooms and tomatoes. Season to taste with salt and pepper and cook uncovered over a low heat for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Put cooked spaghetti in a baking dish and cover with the slices of Mozzarella cheese. Pour sauce over the cheese and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. |
