CINNAMON APPLES 
6 sm. apples
1/4 c. red cinnamon candies
2 c. sugar
2 c. water

Wash apples. Pare. Core. Combine sugar, water and cinnamon candies. Boil 5 minutes. Add apples. Cook slowly until tender. Stick cinnamon or cinnamon extract and red food coloring may be substituted for the red cinnamon candies. If desired, apples may be cut in halves or quartered. 6 servings.
