"GARBAGE" SOUP | |
SOUP BASE: 2 cans stewed tomatoes 2 envelopes Lipton onion soup 8 c. water 1 lb. ground beef 1 tbsp. A-1 sauce 1 tsp. celery salt Brown ground beef in large pot; drain fat. Add soup, water, A-1 sauce and celery salt; salt and pepper to taste. Add anything you have left over in your "fridge" that you might have otherwise thrown in the garbage (thus the name), veggies, meat, chop suey (whatever). Each week your soup will be different. OR: Add 1 (10 ounce) bag of frozen mixed vegetables, chopped cabbage, and fresh carrots. Simmer until all vegetables are tender. |
