4 lg. potatoes
1 sm. onion
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. flour
Fat for frying

Peel and grate potatoes; mix with onion and milk. Mix with salt, egg and flour. Drop by tablespoonfuls into hot fat in skillet. Brown on both sides and serve immediately.
