GOLDEN BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 c. diced onion
1/4 c. diced green pepper
3/4 tsp. salt
2 (12 oz.) cans whole kernel corn, drained
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Brown beef, onion and green pepper in small amount of melted shortening in large heavy frying pan. Mix in remaining ingredients. Spoon into greased 1 3/4 quart casserole. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven, about 40 minutes. Yields: 4-6 servings.
