FRANCES MORGAN'S CHOCOLATE CREAM
PIE
 
2 c. milk
1/4 c. flour
2/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cocoa
3 egg yolks beaten
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine flour, sugar, salt, cocoa and milk. Cook over low heat until thick. Beat egg yolks. Stir small amount of hot liquid into eggs. Pour back into saucepan and cook until thick. Add butter and vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue or Cool Whip.

MERINGUE:

3 egg whites
6 tbsp. sugar

Beat whites until stiff. Add sugar gradually. Beat until forms stiff peaks. Bake 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
