BUTTER PECAN COOKIES 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. finely chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat thoroughly. Add sifted dry ingredients and nuts. Mix well. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees about 10 minutes or until delicately brown.
