CAKE:

1 (16 oz.) can apple pie filling
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Prepare oven to 350 degrees. Butter 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Combine all ingredients for cake in large bowl and blend well. Turn into prepared dish and bake until cake tests done, about 1 hour. Cool.

FROSTING:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter, room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine frosting ingredients and mix to spreading consistency. Frost cake.
