ONE BOWL APPLE CAKE WITH CREAM
CHEESE FROSTING
 
1 (16 oz.) can apple pie filling
2 c. all purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter 9x13 inch baking dish. Combine all ingredients for cake in large bowl and blend well. Turn into prepared dish and bake until cake tests done, about 1 hour.

FROSTING:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter, room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine remaining ingredients and mix to spreading consistency. Frost cake. 24 servings.
