OLD ATLANTA OATMEAL DROP | |
2 c. sugar 1/2 c. milk 1/4 lb. butter 4 tbsp. cocoa 2 1/2 c. quick cooking oats 2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. peanut butter 1/4 c. chopped pecans Combine and cook sugar, butter, cocoa and milk for 1 1/2 minutes. Start timing when mixture has reached a full rolling boil. Remove from heat, add oats, vanilla peanut butter and chopped nuts. Beat until blended. When it begins to set, spoon quickly on wax paper. Yields about 50 cookies. |
