1 c. butter, softened
2 c. flour
1 3/4 c. sugar (don't skimp)
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk (can use sour milk)
1 c. Coca-Cola (or other cola drink)
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows

Combine first 8 ingredients and add cola; blend well. Add marshmallows and fold into batter. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Cool 30 to 40 minutes before frosting.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter, softened
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/3 c. cola
4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts, toasted

Mix cocoa and sugar together; add butter and cola, and blend. Add nuts. Spread on cooled cake.
