GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. fresh green beans
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can french fried onion rings
1 can water chestnuts, sliced thin
Slivered almonds
Seasonings to taste
1/2 c. water

Spread in layers as listed above. Save enough onion rings to crumble and sprinkle over the top, then pour on the water. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
