HOMEMADE COCKTAIL SAUCE 
When you create this - you will kick yourself for having paid the big bucks for store bought cocktail sauce... You will be amazed that only TWO ingredients are 100% identical to what you buy.

Ketchup
Cream style horseradish

Start small just to test first. Put a small blob (1 to 2 tablespoons) of ketchup in a small bowl... put a small amount of the horseradish (1/2 teaspoon) into ketchup... Mix, taste and adjust horseradish to YOUR taste... may even add a little hot sauce - to kick it up.

For some reason (years ago)... as I ate shrimp & cocktail sauce... I REALLY did simple taste the sauce itself. The taste of the two ingredients - were totally obvious but just never paid any attention to it before.
