HOMEMADE CHICKEN SOUP 
1 (6 lb.) stewing chicken
6 c. water
1/3 c. chopped onion
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
1 can cream corn
1 c. celery
2 tbsp. parsley
1 1/2 c. uncooked homemade noodles

In large kettle combine chicken, water, onion, salt, pepper and bay leaf. Bring to boil. Simmer, covered, 2 hours. Remove chicken from broth; cool. Cut into bite pieces. Discard bay leaf. Bring to boil. Add corn, noodles, parsley. Add chicken. Heat. Serves 8.

HOMEMADE NOODLES:

Combine: 2 tbsp. milk 1/2 tsp. salt

Add:

Roll thin on floured surface. Let stand 20 minutes. Roll up loosely. Cut 1/4 inch wide. Unroll, let dry 2 hours. Makes 3 cups noodles.
