SPAGHETTI SAUCE FOR A CROWD 
4 lbs. ground chuck
2 lg. onions, 2 c., minced
8 cloves garlic, 6 if lg., minced
1 c. chopped parsley
4 (#2 1/2 cans + 1 lb. can) tomatoes, 16 c.
8 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
4 (6 o.) cans tomato paste
2 tbsp. oregano
2 tbsp. basil
4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 bay leaves, crumbled
1 tsp. sugar
1 qt. water

Brown beef, onions and garlic. Add remaining ingredients; bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
