REFRIGERATED CHRISTMAS COOKIES 
1 lg. jar red maraschino cherries, drained
1 sm. jar green maraschino cherries, drained
1 lb. butter
3 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tbsp. white syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
7 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter and sugar; blend in eggs, syrup, and vanilla. Cut cherries in small pieces and add cherries, raisins, and nuts. Mix well. Set aside.

Sift together flour, salt, and soda. Add this to first mixture. Blend together well.

Make into rolls 1 x 2 inches in diameter. This makes several rolls. Wrap in waxed paper and refrigerate or freeze if keeping a while. Slice and bake at 325 degrees until done. Will keep frozen until baked. I make mine in November. They are good.
