DATE NUT CAKE 
4 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 lb. pitted dates
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. salt
4 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Combine eggs, sugar, and oil. Beat well; add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Bake in oiled and floured bundt pan. Bake at 300 degrees. Start cake in cool oven. Time: 2 hours. Yield: 3 pound cake.
