2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. walnuts

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease loaf pan. Sift dry ingredients into bowl. Add Crisco. Combine milk and vanilla and add to other ingredients. Beat 2 minutes. Add eggs. Beat 2 more minutes. Stir in walnuts. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes.
