FRUIT SOUP 
1 c. dried prunes
2 qts. water
1 stick cinnamon
1/4 c. cold water
1 c. sm. dried apricot halves
1 c. seedless white or dark raisins
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Soak prunes and apricots in water for 4 hours (or follow package instructions which may not include soaking). Add raisins and cinnamon stick and bring to a boil. Simmer gently, covered, until fruit are tender but still whole. Remove cinnamon sticks. Dissolve cornstarch in cold water. Add to fruit and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Serve hot or chilled. About 2 quarts. 1 cup = 150 calories.
