TRADE WIND SALAD 
2 c. cooked macaroni
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 (12 oz.) can luncheon meat, cubed
1 (8 oz.) container sour cream or yogurt with pineapple
Lettuce leaves
1 c. (4 oz.) cubed American cheese
1/2 c. diced green pepper
1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 (15 oz.) pineapple chunks
1/2 tsp. salt

In large skillet, melt butter with brown sugar. Add luncheon meat; cook and stir until golden brown. In large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, luncheon meat, pineapple, cheese, and green pepper. Stir together mayonnaise, sour cream, reserved pineapple liquid, and salt. Add to macaroni mixture; mix well. Chill thoroughly. Serve on lettuce garnished as desired. Makes 8 servings.
