CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE 
1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust
2 squares unsweetened baking chocolate
1/4 c. butter
1 c. light corn syrup
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs (beaten)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups broken pecans

Preheat oven to 375°F. Melt chocolate and butter. Set aside. Boil syrup and sugar for 2 minutes and add chocolate mixture. Beat eggs well then slowly add hot mixture to eggs, beating constantly. Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake 45 to 50 minutes.
