SUGAR CREAM PIE 
1 c. sugar
2 c. milk
1 stick butter
Pinch of salt
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 9" pie shell (baked)

Bring to boil sugar, milk, butter and salt. Take off heat and stir in paste of 1/4 cup cornstarch and 1/4 cup milk. Return to stove and bring to a boil. Take off heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour into a baked 9" pie shell. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Makes one 9 inch pie.
