TURTLE CAKE | |
1 box chocolate cake mix with pudding 1/3 c. evaporated milk 3/4 c. softened butter 1 (13 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels 1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped German chocolate cake icing Mix cake as directed on box. Butter and flour sheet cake pan. Pour 1/2 of cake batter into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Melt caramels with milk and butter and spread over cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Add remaining cake batter and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes longer. Cool completely. Frost with German chocolate cake icing. |
