CORNBREAD CASSEROLE BROWN 
1 lb. ground beef
1 to 1 1/2 inch onion
1 can tomatoes
1 can Veg-all
1 can whole kernel corn
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
Dash black pepper
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
Dash of cayenne pepper (optional)

Lightly brown beef in skillet. Saute onions and bell pepper. Put meat into 1 1/2 quart casserole and layer onions, pepper, tomatoes, veg all, corn, chili powder, salt and pepper. Then put topping over other ingredients of 3/4 cup self rising corn meal, 1 tablespoons flour, 1 or 2 eggs, 2 to 3 tablespoons cooking oil, and 3 tablespoons powdered milk. Add water to pour over casserole. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
