CHEWY PEANUT BUTTER AND APPLE
COOKIES
 
Mix:

3 tbsp. butter
3/4 cup peanut butter

Add:

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2 egg whites
2 tbsp. skim milk
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Add:

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup quick cooking rolled oats
1 medium apple (peeled and diced - 3/4 cup)

Stir until mixed; drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet; flatten slightly.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes. These freeze well.
