SWEET AND SOUR PORK 
3 lb. pork (can use regular spareribs)
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can pineapple chunks, drained
2 green peppers, cut into strips
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar

Cover pork with cold water; bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Drain and rinse in cold water. Place in roasting pan; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 15 minutes, until lightly browned. Pour off fat. Add pineapple and pepper. Bake for 10 more minutes. Combine cornstarch, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar and juice form pineapple; cook until clear, stirring constantly. Pour over meat. Bake 10 minutes longer.
